Answers to some frequently asked questions.

Q - Does it work on any other animals?

A - We have been reliably informed that it repels squirrels, so we have to assume that it may work on several other animals as well. However, the only official repellency data we have is for cats, so that is the only claim we make.

Q - How does it work?

A - Cats are territorial, and mark their territories with their own smell. It is this that draws a cat back for repeat visits. Our product works because not only do cats find it offensive, but it also masks the cats smell making it impossible for them to effectively mark their territory.

Q - Is it hazardous?

A - No. We take inert, ceramic clay granules and steep them in an essence which contains a unique blend of essential oils derived from lemon grasses. Though caution should be taken around ponds, as virtually all essential oils contain a substance called geraniol which can be harmful to aquatic organisms.

Q - Will it work when it’s raining?

A - Unlike peppers and gels which are easily washed away, our product will continue to work after rain. Water will stop the essence evaporating for a while, but as soon as the granules dry out, the odour will return.

Q - Will it harm cats?

A - No. The product is safe to use around all plants and animals and because of its friendly nature, has been endorsed by the Cats Protection League.
